Dear Help-A-Heart Supporter,
We are just under a week away from Help-A-Heart’s 14th Annual ‘Celebration of Life’ Dinner & Silent Auction! As promised, attached below you will find the listing of auction items that will be available on Monday, June 24th, at the event. If you are unable to attend the event, you can email auction bids to auction@help-a-heart.org before 4 pm the day of the auction. Please include the auction item #, short description, and the $ range that you would like to bid. I have included the approximate values in the attachment so please note that when deciding your bids. Most items go for right around what they are valued at but all bids are accepted! Be sure and check out all of the great items we have this year!
I have attached the flier for your reference but here are the event details as well. Help-A-Heart’s 14th Annual ‘Celebration of Life’ Dinner & Silent Auction will be held at the Walnut Creek Church Gymnasium, 900 64th St, Windsor Heights from 5-8 pm. Doors will open at 5, a buffet dinner will be served by Jethro’s BBQ from 5-8 and the auction bidding will end at various times between 7:15-7:45 pm. Parking is available in the upper or lower lot at the church and you can use any of the entrances. Cost will be $10/adults, $5 for children ages 4-10, and 3 & under are free. Our dinner and silent auction is kid-friendly with a soda bar, crafts, & live music played by Kaitlyn Heidesch from Sounds and Soul Outreach and Zachary Freedom. Princess Belle and Alpha from the Iowa Wolves will be in attendance from 5:30pm-7:30pm and available for pictures! We rely heavily on word of mouth advertising so please forward this on to everyone you know! If you have attended our auction before, we would love for you to invite a friend. We want to break our attendance record & also raise awareness about Help-A-Heart & children affected by congenital heart defects. See you on the 24th!
