We will be hosting our 2nd annual Heart ❤f Hazel carnival in honor of sweet Hazels 10th birthday on Sept 8th 11:30 to 2:30. Last March we lost our beautiful daughter Hazel Marie unexpectedly. We found out right before Christmas from the sudc she had an unknown heart condition that she had never shown any symptoms for. The SUDC provided the DNA testing to give us this information and also helped with getting our boys tested as well (who like us do not have the mutated ryr2 gene). They were so amazing, one of many reasons why we will always donate a portion to SUDC.The loss of our daughter has been so painful and devastating. I long for her more and more every day and know my life will never be complete without her. I will do all I can to keep her memory alive! That is why I started the Heart ❤f Hazel! She had the most amazing heart, she was kind and forgiving and a friend to anyone who would let her! This year we will be raising funds for Help a Heart. This organization provides support for kids and families suffering from heart conditions.( additional information can be found at helpaheart.org) In addition to help a heart this year we will also be raising funds for a local girl Allie Brooks who is suffering from DIPG a type of brain cancer that currently has no effective treatment. Allie is only 5 years old and Our hearts break for Allie and her family. They need and will need all the support and love they can get. Please mark you calendar and share share share this event!!
